Whats our Story?

A haven of delicious grilled delights

Jinete is a truly special restaurant, offering diners a home away from home in the mountainside above La Cala de Mijas. Spanish styled interiors and delicious cuisine comprising top quality grilled meat and fish and international dishes with a strong Mediterranean influence, is what makes Jinete so popular all year round.

Alongside his faithful team, owner and Chef Roque Martínez Luna, serves soul-satisfying food to up to 150 clients a night. Venta El Jinete is famed for its enormous outdoor terrace which offers the perfect setting for an intimate alfresco dining experience on a balmy summer evening.
